During the past
decade Tim McAuuley has become a highly sought after teaching professional in the
Metropolitan area. While at Cornell University, he captained the college baseball team.
Tim's teaching style uses analogy from various sports activities to classify and
facilitate
learning the golf swing.
A native of Huntington, New York, Tim has worked and taught at several respected
facilities in the area such as Lido Beach Golf Club, Tam O'Shanter Country Club, Montauk
Downs, and Sunken Meadow Golf Course and Mill Pond Golf Club.
Golfers at every skill level from raw beginner to the experienced player have reaped the
benefits of Tim's teaching methods. His ability to work with a student and make subtle
changes without forcing a total swing overhaul have made him popular with those who have
played for years while his skills in communicating complex swing theory in everyday terms
has drawn the new golfer to him.
Promoting enjoyment of the game is Tim's number one priority. His love for the game and
sense of humor create a positive learning experience for men, women and children alike.
